So I heard a bird thud into our window and found this little guy on our deck, out cold. He was laying on his side, wings floppy and tail feathers all amiss. We thought he was a goner. But, five minutes later he suddenly lifted his head. By the time I grabbed my camera he had rolled onto his belly, and after a few more minutes to catch his breath he finally flew off. We saw him a few hours later picking at the berry bush as if nothing happend, good to go.
